Frida is an inspiration to women artists everywhere.
To make this print, I sketched the image and then transferred it to a linoleum block. From there, I carved the image away. You can see this in the last image above with a print lying next to the carved block.
I drew inspiration from many of Frida's paintings and her diary.
This print is called, " Thank you, Frida" and is printed with black oil based ink on acid free paper. Each print is signed and numbered. The image area is 11x14 with a border of about an inch all around to make it easy to mat and frame.
